Whether you need photos of the
Silent Night Chapel in Oberndorf in winter to illustrate a
travel story or of containers being handled at an intermodal
terminal to illustrate an economics story, if the subject is
related to Austria, I can provide a range of images.
My stock photo file contains
thousands of images made in Austria during many trips
(currently, the most recent trip was in December of 2001 to
photograph winter and Christmas subjects) and I have the
subject and geographic knowledge that goes with the photos.
This expertise helps not only in the selection of images but
also in the writing of captions (or more extensive texts)
that accompany those images.

I was born in Vienna and still
speak German fluently. I follow Austrian travel and
transportation issues and own a wide range of reference
materials related to Austria.
My special interest in
railroads--one of my other major stock photo specialties,
with international coverage--has led to behind-the-scenes
access to a range of railroad facilities in Austria. And,
I've used my knowledge of Austria's railroads to good
advantage for travel around Austria.
