Welcome to the newsletter pages for my photography and writing business. This page provides access to online versions of my occasional newsletters which highlight new material added to my stock photo file and current and recently completed projects.
(My newsletters are supplemented by descriptive sheets on coverage of various subject and geographic specialties. These descriptive sheets are available as Web pages in the Business section of my Web site.)
Many of my stock photo projects easily lend themselves to the production of illustrated features for a variety of publications. The same is true of already complteted writing projects for other publications. In some cases, publications purchase only one-time rights or rights to publish the work in a given geographic area, and the material is still available to publications elsewhere. In other cases, I can produce entirely new features on the same or related subjects.
If you are a picture editor, picture researcher, graphic designer, art director, or other user of commercial stock photography and would like to get additional information, please send e-mail. Yes, I'm also happy to work with freelance picture researchers.
And, if you're an editor who assigns features -- either illustrated features or text-only articles -- I'd be happy to hear from you too.

What happened to the winter 2004-2005 newsletter? Due to a move (within the same city, with no changes in phone numbers or my P.O. Box address) and other demands on my time, production of this newsletter had to be postponed. I have produced an extended (online only) 2005 interim newsletter. Click on the link in the frame at left..

Because early newsletters were originally printed in black and white, most of the illustrations included in these are also in black and white. However, 99.9 per cent of my current photography is in color , and the originals of these illustrations are also color transparencies.
Most recent newsletters do not include illustrations as it is now easy for me to display new sample images on my Web site and to simply include pointers to those images in the newsletters.
