
990106 The joint U.S. Postal Service/Amtrak "Celebrate the Century Express," a special train of postal exhibits that is making a nationwide tour in 1999. The train, painted in the international postal color (yellow) and decorated with postage stamp and postal cancellation motifs, was southbound at Selma, N.C., on a trial run on Feb. 5, 1999, prior to the beginning of its official tour.
