001105 Exterior of the U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum, Fayetteville, N.C. The central hall is topped by a soaring wing-like roof. The museum, focusing on the history and equipment of troops that have operated from nearby Fort Bragg, opened in summer of 2000.

The museum is located in downtown Fayetteville, adjoining the Amtrak station.
