960154 A westbound Union Pacific double-stack container train crosses the Keddie Wye trestle in northern California. The containers are bound for ships at the port of Oakland, in the San Francisco Bay area. This scenic ex-Western Pacific route through the Feather River Canyon is extermely difficult to maintain because it is prone to slides and washouts during severe weather. The trestle in the background connects a secondary line leading north towards Oregon.
