031228 High-level view of the right half of the model of the Bahnbau Robl industrial area. The warehouse is at top right. The paint shop building is at lower right. Both were built from Kibri kits. At upper right are two loading and transfer areas. At top, a ramp is available to unload vehicles and wheeled equipment from flatcars; next to that is a track set into concrete for putting hi-rail equipment on the rails and for loading railroad track machines onto highway trailers.

A temporary control for testing the wiring on this section is visible at lower right.

The Bahnbau Robl (Railroad Construction Robl) project is an attempt to depict the home base of a fictional European railroad construction contractor. (I model primarily Austrian prototype in HO scale.) For an introductory page with an overview of the project, follow this link.
