751178 Power car 4010.08 gets its face scrubbed at Innsbruck after going through heavy weather between Salzburg and Innsbruck, Austria. This unit is considered a "Triebwagen" (EMU train set) power car, rather than a locomotive, because, in addition to propulsion equipment, it also contains a baggage area and office space for the conducor. The opposite end of the train has a class 6010 cab control car. The train is heading up the Arlberg line toward Switzerland.
In a few emergencies, these power units, coupled only to the cab control car, were used as so-called "long locomotives" to pull other rolling stock.
