001380 Acela Express engine cab console. While most of the gages shown are in analog format, they are actually displayed digitally on two computer screens. These screens allow a variety of performance and diagnostic data to be displayed as selected by the engineer.

As this Acela train was on display on non-electrified tracks, it was coupled to an Amtrak P42 diesel locomotive, whose diesel engine was supplying on-board power for the Acela train. That's what you see out the windshield of the Acela locomotive.
