050232 Restored North Carolina Railrod Co. (NCRR) freight house in downtown Raleigh, N.C. In early 2005 the rehabilitated structure was awaiting signing of leases by its first tenants. Though there are no longer tracks adjoining the building, the active NCRR (operated and dispatched by Norfolk Southern) is still visible from the building's front windows, as is the Raleigh Amtrak passenger station. Much of the parking lot is still covered by the original paving stones used for the facility.
