11D00023 Current north end of the Charlotte Lynx light rail Blue Line at 9th Street. The last two blocks of the light rail line are single track and are normally only used by the replica historic trolleys. The continuation of the former freight rail corridor is visible in the background. Plans are to estend the light rail transit system to the north toward the University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus.
