011706 Winter view toward the Silent Night Chapel in Oberndorf, Austria, from the bank of the Salzach River. The small tower-like structure marks the location of the church were "Silent Night, Holy Night" was first performed. Oberndorf is only a few miles from Salzburg and easily reachable from there via the Salzburg Local Railway (Salzburger Lokalbahn or SLB). The Silent Night Museum is at left.
