These photos are a small sample of images depicting meets between trains traveling in opposite directions. In addition to illustrating the common mathematical problem of "If train 1 leaves point A, at xx:xx time, traveling yy miles per hour, and train 2 leaves point B ...." These images can also work in a variety of other contexts. And, images depicting two trains often provide more interesting elements than those with only one train.
