840423 The visitor center at the Wright Brothers National Memorial at Kill Devil Hills, N.C., contains a replica of the plane used for the first powered flight. The original aircraft is in the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. (Th Wright Brothers National Memorial visitor center was undergoing major renovations in 2002; I will have new images following completions of this work.)
