070014 Railroad gondola full of brand new railroad spikes. This image was made on the Lancaster & Chester railroad in South Carolina. A plant located on the line manufactures these spikes and ships them out several railroad carloads at a time. The receiving railroad unloads these spikes with a crane equipped with an electric magnet.
