Please read the following points carefully before ordering.
- Except for defective cards or cards received in damaged condition, purchases are non-returnable.
- Minimum quantity for mail order for
- Individuals is 25 copies. (I will sell smaller quantities in person only, such as at railroad shows.)
- Resellers is 100 copies.
- Retail purchasers in North Carolina must pay 7 per cent sales tax. (Sales tax is applicable to the subtotal of merchandise and shipping & handling fees.)
- North Carolina resellers and non-profit purchases must provide the appropriate tax-exemption documentation.
- Check must accompany all individual mail orders. (I do not accept credit cards; please do not send cash.)
- Orders of 25 or 50 copies will be sent in an envelope at first class postage rates; orders of 100 copies and above will be sent by best means for the specified quantity. These are quality post cards on heavyweight stock; therefore, packages with large numbers of cards have considerable weight.
- Orders of 50 cards or more can include more than one type of card, in quantities of 25/50/100/250 each, with the total of all cards determining the unit price. In other words,
- Order 50 each of two different cards, and the 100 card price applies.
- Order 100 of one card and 150 of another card, and the 250 card price applies.
- S&H in the table below indicates shipping and handling costs.
- The data below applies only to the currently available in-stock post card subjects as shown above; please do not order post cards of other images shown on this Web site at these prices; instead, see the section on Custom Post Cards below.
However, if you are interested in post cards of particular subjects (and would be willing to purchase multiple cards of such subjects), please do write me, as these suggestions will help me decide what other post cards to publish in the future.
- When ordering, please be sure to specify the post card subject (or product code as shown with the thumbnail images above).
- Please allow three weeks for delivery of your order.
- Because my printing, shipping, and other costs may change, prices are subject to change without notice.

Resellers: The suggested retail prices for these post cards is $0.60 each; 2 cards $1.10 (or $0.55 each); 5 cards for $2.50 (or $0.50 each); and 10 cards for $4.50 (or $0.45 each).
I uses these same prices when selling cards at railroad shows and similar events.
Please note: These 4x6 inch cards are larger than the "standard" 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch post card size but can still be mailed in the U.S. at the post card rate, without having to pay the first class letter rate.
Look for additional post card subjects in the future.
Custom post cards are available from many of the other images on this Web site and many of the other images in my stock photography collection. Generally, the following conditions apply:
- Minimum quantities available are 1,000 copies. (In some cases, where the subject also has potential for direct sales by me, I will consider smaller quantities and special arrangements.)
- Clients need to sign a written contract and pay a deposit on making the order. The contract is between the client and the commercial printer for whom I act as an agent.
- Price per copy is dependant on the quantity ordered.
- In addition to the printing costs, there is also a fee for the use of stock photo image.
- Typical turn-around on custom orders from a stock photo is about 3-4 weeks. Faster processing by the commercial printer is available at an additional cost. For rush orders sent to the commercial printer by overnight express, the client pays the express costs. (Custom post cards requiring new assignment photography require additional time and fees.)
- The printed cards will be shipped to the client's address by the commercial printer.
- On custom orders, the client has a variety of options for the text side of the card.
- Post cards are available in a variety of sizes, though I recommend the 4x6 inch format as that can still be mailed at the post card rate in the U.S. without requiring a surcharge due to size. The post card rate results in a substantial savings in mailing costs for large mailings.
- Custom formats combining more than one image on a post card are also available.
